Dan Stoffer is the Chief Operating Officer of Lightspeed Data Solutions, responsible for operational strategy, organizational performance, and the continued growth of the firm’s technology‑driven product suite. He joined Lightspeed in July 2025, bringing more than three decades of leadership across trading, compliance, and broker‑dealer operations.
Prior to Lightspeed, Dan spent 21 years with FIS’s broker‑dealer, FBSS, serving as a Registered Series 24 Principal and leading key initiatives that advanced the FIS Trading and Compliance business globally.
Dan began his career as a proprietary trader for Sanwa Bank and later became a member of the Mercantile Exchange, developing deep expertise in futures, options, and fixed income markets. His combined experience with Trading, Post-trade, Regulatory oversight, and real-time technology‑enabled work-flows strengthens Lightspeed’s ability to scale TDMS.
